About this role
As a part-time Food & Beverage Attendant in our Meetings & Events team, you will play an important role in delivering seamless and memorable events, providing attentive service while ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard.
Provide professional food and beverage service across corporate events, dinners, weddings, parties and social celebrationsDeliver warm, attentive and personalised service throughout every eventAssist with room set-ups and pack-downs, ensuring spaces are presented beautifully and ready for guestsPrepare meeting and event spaces according to detailed function requirementsAnticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests throughout the eventMaintain exceptional attention to detail across room presentation, table settings, service and event requirementsWork closely with the Meetings & Events team, kitchen and other hotel departments to ensure seamless event deliveryRemain calm, flexible and solutions-focused during busy service periods and changing event requirementsAssist with maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation throughout eventsCreate genuine connections with guests and look for opportunities to make their experience more memorableSupport the team to deliver events that reflect the luxury standards of Hotel Chadstone Melbourne MGallery A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality and guest serviceStrong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards of presentation and serviceConfidence working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quicklyExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with guestsA proactive, can-do approach and willingness to go above and beyond for guestsA reliable and committed team player who enjoys working collaborativelyPrevious hospitality, food and beverage or events experience is highly regardedA current RSA CertificateAvailability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays is essential, with flexibility to work around event requirements What’s in it for you...
