About this role
As a waiter, you are expected to deliver prompt, efficient, consistent, professional, and engaging service to all guests. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience. Key expectations include but are not limited to:
Provide prompt, efficient, and professional service to all hotel and restaurant guestsMaintain thorough knowledge of menu items, including prices, preparation processes, and allergen informationComplete all mise en place tasks before service, including table setup and side station preparationTake and process food and beverage orders accurately using the point of sale systemClear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of the restaurant areaHandle guest billing and payment processes efficientlyAdhere to Health, Hygiene, and Safety standardsPerform room service duties as requiredAssist with special functions setup and breakdown Secondary School education: minimum of 3 CXC passesGood oral communication skillsAbility to speak a foreign language (particularly French, German, or Italian) is an assetPrevious hospitality experience is beneficial but not requiredAbility to work weekends and bank holidays WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOU:
