We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles & Fairmont Doha as our new Commis 1 - Pasty.
As a Commis 1 – Pastry at Raffles & Fairmont Doha, you will support the pastry team in preparing and presenting high-quality pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked products in accordance with the hotel’s standards. You will work closely with Pastry Chefs and other culinary team members to ensure consistent quality, cleanliness, and efficient kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, baking, decoration, and presentation of pastries and dessertsPrepare ingredients and perform basic pastry techniques according to recipes and instructionsMaintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and sanitationEnsure pastry equipment, workstations, and storage areas are clean and organizedFollow recipes, portion controls, production schedules, and food-safety proceduresAssist with mise en place and daily pastry productionProperly store ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness and qualitySupport the Pastry Chef and senior team members during daily operations and special eventsMinimize food waste through proper handling, storage, and portioningFollow hotel policies, HACCP requirements, and workplace safety standards What will you bring to this role?
