Set up banquet rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, and place settings according to event specificationsGreet and welcome guests, ensuring a positive first impressionServe food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional mannerAnticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requestsMaintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas throughout eventsAssist with post-event breakdown and cleanupCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service deliveryHandle guest inquiries and resolve issues efficientlyProcess payments and manage cash transactions accuratelyAdhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all timesParticipate in pre-shift briefings and training sessions High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in food and beverage service, preferably in banquet settingsStrong customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanorProficiency in food and beverage service techniquesKnowledge of banquet operations and proceduresAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProven teamwork abilitiesKeen attention to detailBasic math skills for handling transactionsFood handling certification (preferred)Alcohol service certification (if applicable)Experience in a luxury hotel or resort environment (preferred)Ability to work in Dubai, United Arab EmiratesKnowledge of local customs and etiquette (preferred)Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays What is in it for you:
