About this role
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Accountant to join our Finance team.
You’ll become an integral part of the hotel’s Finance function, gaining hands-on experience across the numbers behind a busy resort while working closely with teams across the property.
This is a varied role suited to an accountant who enjoys being involved in the detail, building strong relationships and understanding how Finance supports the wider hotel operation.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage day-to-day accounting activities across the hotelProcess and oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functionsComplete bank, balance sheet and general ledger reconciliationsPrepare daily and monthly financial informationAssist with month-end close and reporting requirementsMonitor outstanding accounts and support credit control processesAssist with budgets, forecasts and financial analysisMaintain accurate financial records and ensure accounting standards are metWork with operational teams to resolve queries and support sound financial practicesIdentify ways to improve accounting processes and efficienciesEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, Accor policies and internal controls We’re looking for someone who brings:
A qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplinePrevious experience in an accounting or finance roleStrong attention to detail and a methodical approachGood understanding of accounting principles and financial processesStrong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systemsExcellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the hotelAbility to manage competing priorities and meet deadlinesA proactive attitude with a genuine interest in developing your careerPrevious hotel or hospitality finance experience is advantageousExperience with Opera Cloud, Zambion, Purchase Plus, Micros Symphony or Sun Cloud is advantageous Why work for Accor?
