About this role

Be responsible for spa treatment consultations and identification of possible contraindications.Be responsible for performing beauty therapy treatments, massage and body therapy treatments and specialized treatments for the members and guests to the required standard and provide guests with home-care well-being program.Be responsible for after care advice for the member of guestBe responsible for achieving retail salesEnsure that all treatment rooms and therapy back of house areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and hygieneEnsure that all equipment is serviced as part of a preventative maintenance programCarry out spa tours and spa consultations with guests and members, giving personalized advice and promote facilities, treatments and productsAssist during spa promotions and eventsAssist with marketing and public relationsHave complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offeredUphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and proceduresPerform prep work, properly clean and restock room as requiredActively promote the spa, treatments, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts availableHandle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteouslyProvide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guestsPossess the ability to work without direct supervisionAssist in all areas of spa operation as requested by managementCommunicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attentionEnsure correct records are kept for member and guest visits, treatments and purchasesEnsure correct information is recorded for stock control in accordance with the Senior TherapistBe responsible for treatment laundry stock inventory and securityEnsure that all potential and real hazards are reported immediately and rectifiedEnsure that all staff within the department works in a manner, unlikely to give risk of harm or injury to themselves or others. Diploma or certification in Beauty Therapy, Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Spa Therapist in a luxury hotel, resort, destination spa, or wellness centerPrevious work experience in the Maldives is preferredGood knowledge and practical experience in massage, body treatments, beauty treatments, and spa therapiesSound knowledge of treatment contraindications, hygiene, sanitation, and safety standardsStrong product knowledge and retail sales skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude with a genuine passion for spa, wellness, and guest serviceAbility to work independently as well as part of a multicultural teamProfessional appearance and excellent personal grooming standardsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced luxury resort environmentFlexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays according to operational requirementsAdditional international spa or beauty certifications will be an advantage Attractive tax free salary packageMonthly service charge earningsComprehensive health insurance coverageAnnual paid leave with return flight ticketAccommodation, meals, uniforms, and additional employee perks
