We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our hotel.
Assist in managing daily housekeeping operations, including room inspections, public area cleanliness, and inventory controlCollaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to develop and implement cleaning schedules and proceduresSupervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to hotel standards and safety protocolsConduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to maintain quality standardsManage VIP arrivals and special requests, coordinating with the Front Office departmentMonitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and guest amenitiesImplement and oversee maintenance and repair programs for guest rooms and public areasAssist in budget preparation and cost control measuresEnsure compliance with health and safety regulationsRespond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, maintaining a high level of customer serviceStay informed about industry trends and innovative cleaning techniques Qualification in Hotel Management with a diploma or equivalent certificationMinimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industryStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordExcellent knowledge of hotel standards, business practices, and housekeeping operationsOutstanding leadership and team management skillsExceptional communication and interpersonal abilities in EnglishProven experience in staff training and developmentStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesMeticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of floral decoration, materials, fabrics, and flooringPhysical stamina to work across various hotel areas and respond to visual and auditory cuesFlexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidaysFamiliarity with inventory management and budgeting processes What is in it for you:
