We are seeking a dedicated and versatile HK Multi-Skilled Team Member to join our dynamic team in Novotel Long Eaton, United Kingdom. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of our facility while providing exceptional service to our guests and colleagues.
Perform a wide range of cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas of the facilityMaintain and organize inventory of cleaning supplies and equipmentAssist with basic maintenance tasks and report any issues or repairs needed to the appropriate personnelCollaborate with team members to ensure all assigned areas/rooms are cleaned and maintained to the highest standardsRespond promptly and professionally to guest requests and concernsFollow all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipmentAssist with additional tasks as needed, such as laundry services or room setup for eventsMaintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environmentDusting bedroom furniture, cleaning surfaces and walls.Making beds, Vacuuming carpets and damp cleaning hard floor areasCleaning bathrooms, including baths, shows, wash basins, tiles, and toiletsReporting any maintenance issues, and working safely Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role (preferred)Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficientlyExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCustomer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skillsKnowledge of cleaning techniques and safe use of cleaning equipmentFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Health and safety certifications (preferred)Basic understanding of the hospitality or facilities management industry (beneficial) Employee discount
