About this role

As a Day and Night Hotel Team Member, you will be required to work independently and oversee the hotel operations, including checking guests in and out, and addressing any guest needs that might arise. It is a varied role- you might have to prepare some drinks, make a pizza, set up the breakfast service, make new reservations, answer the phone, cashiering, oversee security and health and safety, or even do some basic cleaning duties. Whatever it is you need to do, have fun and always put our guests first to ensure they have an exceptional stay.

Welcome and assist guests during night hours, addressing their needs and inquiries with a friendly and professional demeanorPerform night audit tasks, including reviewing and balancing daily financial transactionsHandle check-ins, check-outs, and reservations using our property management systemSet up the breakfast serviceRespond promptly to guest requests and concerns, ensuring their comfort and satisfactionCollaborate with other departments to prepare for the next day's operationsManage incoming calls and messages, relaying information accurately to relevant team membersPromote hotel facilities and services to maximize sales opportunitiesAssist with administrative tasks and reports as requiredMaintain a clean and organized front desk areaAdapt to various situations and perform additional duties as assigned by management Experience in a similar role ideally within a Hotel environmentProficiency in property management systems, such as OPERA CloudFlexibility to work rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays is essential.A positive attitude and ability to work well within a teamA commitment to delivering high levels of guest serviceA smart and professional appearanceExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.A proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.Basic knowledge of computer systems and hotel management software.Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.You must be eligible to live and work in the UK to apply for this position and be in possession of a current work visa.
