Manage all recreation, sports, wellness, Kids Club, and entertainment activities.Develop annual, seasonal, and daily activity programs for guests of all ages.Ensure smooth operations of:Kids Club, Family Activities, Fitness Center, Sports Facilities, Pool & Beach ActivitiesPool Activities, Evening Entertainment ProgramsMaintain service standards in accordance with hotel brand requirements.Strategic Planning & Program Development
Develop innovative recreational and entertainment concepts to enhance guest experiences.Create annual event calendars including:Holiday ProgramsChristmas CelebrationsNew Year EventsSongkran ActivitiesFamily FestivalsWellness ProgramsTeam Building ActivitiesCorporate Group ActivitiesMonitor market trends and competitor offerings.Continuously improve activity offerings based on guest feedback.Leadership & Team Management
Lead and manage:Assistant Recreation ManagerEntertainment SupervisorsKids Club SupervisorsRecreation SupervisorsRecreation & Kids Club AttendantsEntertainment StaffConduct recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.Develop succession plans and career development programs.Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly departmental meetings.Guest Experience Management
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and engagement.Personally interact with guests and VIPs to enhance experiences.Monitor guest feedback, online reviews, and survey results.Resolve guest complaints efficiently and professionally.Develop family-friendly and luxury guest experiences that support brand positioning.Revenue & Financial Management
Revenue GenerationDevelop and manage revenue-producing activities such as:Private Family ActivitiesTeam Building ProgramsBicycle RentalsCabana RentalsSports ProgramsKids ProgramsSpecial EventsWellness ActivitiesIdentify new business opportunities and ancillary revenue streams.Budget ManagementPrepare annual departmental budgets and forecasts.Monitor labor costs and operating expenses.Manage purchasing and inventory control.Achieve departmental revenue and profitability targets.Safety, Risk & Compliance
Ensure compliance with hotel safety policies and procedures.Implement child safeguarding standards within Kids Club operations.Conduct risk assessments for all activities and events.Ensure emergency action plans are current and practiced.Maintain compliance with local laws, licensing, and operational requirements.Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.Facility Management
Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of recreation facilities.Ensure all recreation and entertainment equipment is safe and operational.Coordinate with Engineering and Housekeeping departments.Monitor facility enhancement and refurbishment projects.Administration & Reporting
Prepare:Monthly Performance ReportsRevenue ReportsActivity Participation ReportsGuest Satisfaction AnalysisBudget ReportsAnalyze performance trends and recommend improvements.Maintain operational records and compliance documentation. Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in Recreation, Entertainment, Leisure, Sports, or Resort Operations.Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a management role.Experience in luxury resorts, family resorts, or international hotel brands preferred.Language & Communication: Excellent command of the English language with highly effective written and verbal communication skills. Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to supervise, strongly motivate, coach, and counsel sales professionals while encouraging high team spirit and morale. Execution & Pace: Hardworking, organized, and capable of working in a very fast-paced environment to launch and manage major projects independently.
