We are seeking a Assistant Manager/Relief Night Manager to join our Front Office team at Grosvenor Hotel Adelaide. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, this pivotal role assumes full responsibility for hotel operations during your shifts and overnight representing senior leadership in the absence of the General Manager.

As a Assistant Manager/Relief Night Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting a team culture built on care, collaboration, and an exceptional guest journey.

Some of the key duties of this role will include, but not limited to:

Oversee hotel operations during days and overnightManage late arrivals, early departures, and guest inquiries with professionalismEnsure safety, security, and emergency procedures are followedConduct nightly audits and prepare operational reportsSupport and lead the night team to maintain premium service standardsResolve guest issues promptly, ensuring a seamless experienceMonitor cleanliness and presentation of public areas overnightLiaise with other departments to ensure continuity across shiftAct as a Loyalty Ambassador, promoting Accor Live Limitless (ALL) membership and benefitsFollow up on guest feedback and assist with responses to ensure satisfaction and retention Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest service and uphold operational excellenceA warm, energetic, and team-oriented attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with guests and listening their storiesDiplomatic and well-tempered, with the ability to calmly manage challenging situations and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and empathyOutstanding communication skills—both written and verbalStrong cultural awareness and ability to work effectively within a diverse team, aligned with Accor’s purpose of connecting cultures, with heartfelt care.Impeccable attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solvingMinimum 2-3 years’ experience in a front office leadership/supervisory role within a hotel environment.Previous experience in Night Audit and/or Front Office Supervisor roles preferredHigh level of computer literacy; Excel and Opera Cloud experience highly regardedRequired certifications/certificates/licenses: RP Badge, SA RSA, First Aid & CPR, National Police Check, and clearance to work with vulnerable people (age care sector) Full availability over a 24/7 rotating roster (mornings, afternoons and evenings)Full, unrestricted Australia working rights Our team and working environment:
