To sort soiled guestroom linen as required and fill containers, label and make ready for pick-upTo sort/count soiled linen (Food & Beverage) and fill in containers, label and make ready for pick-upSet aside misused linen for further investigationReport any articles found within the linen/chute area eg. glass, food, cutlery, needlesKeep own working area constantly clean and tidy during day and end of shiftWear as advised mask, gloves for Health and Safety reasonsFold and pile clean towels, bathrobes for floor porters/housemen to pick-up and deliverSet aside and report any damaged or marked linenRoll into linen room all containers with clean linen ready for distributionIf and when required to wash towels, to observe all points handling chemicals, lifting towels as trained. If and when required to wear goggles/gloves/mask accordingly to the Health and Safety training.Helps out on other duties deemed necessary within linen/laundry areaReport to Supervisor any equipment malfunctioning, or anything which may be a Health & Safety hazardAttend any training courses given by Housekeeping/Human Resources DepartmentTo make sure all Health and Safety matters are observedAny other work deemed necessary by the Head of Department High School diploma, vocational training and/or 1 year work experienceFluency in ***local language*** essentialBasic understanding of the English language desirableAbility to lift/carry requirements up to 25 lbs.Previous experience in luxury hotel desirable
