What you'll be doing
Leading and motivating the team during busy service periodsSupervising restaurant, bar and in room dining operations to ensure smooth day-to-day serviceDelivering exceptional guest experiences and resolving guest enquiries with confidenceTraining and supporting team members to meet Novotel service standardsPreparing and serving quality espresso coffee, cocktails and other beveragesProviding bar service, and being responsible for cash handling and POS transactionsWorking closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless food and beverage deliveryMaintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness and food safetyMonitoring rosters and staff schedules to meet operational requirements What we're looking for
Previous experience in a restaurant, café, bar or hotel food & beverage environment essentialLeadership experience or the confidence and capability to step into a junior supervisory roleStrong barista skills and experience preparing espresso coffee is an advantageExperience in bar service and a passion for food and beverageA friendly, outgoing and positive attitude with excellent communication skillsAbility to work as part of a team and lead by example during serviceFlexibility to work breakfast, lunch and dinner shifts, including weekends and public holidaysCurrent RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain)Valid Australian working rights are essential to be considered for this roleWorking in hospitality means creating memorable moments while keeping pace with a busy service environment. This role is perfect for an experienced Team Leader, or an exceptional Food & Beverage Attendant who is ready to take the next step into leadership and develop their career with a supportive team.
