Job Purpose
Lead the Housekeeping operation to ensure all guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas consistently meet the hotel’s highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, comfort and safety, while delivering an excellent guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, room presentation and maintenance throughout the hotel.Conduct regular room and public-area inspections and ensure rooms are ready on time.Manage daily Housekeeping operations, manpower, productivity and room priorities.Handle guest concerns and ensure prompt service recovery.Lead, train, coach and develop the Housekeeping team.Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry and other departments.Manage linen, uniforms, amenities, cleaning supplies, equipment and inventories.Control departmental budget, payroll and operating expenses.Ensure compliance with hotel quality standards, LQA, safety, hygiene and sustainability requirements.Monitor guest feedback, inspection results and performance indicators and take corrective action. Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field.Minimum 5 years’ Housekeeping experience, including 3 years in a Housekeeping Manager or comparable senior role.Experience in an international Five-Star hotel or resort.Strong knowledge of Housekeeping operations, room inspection, hygiene, laundry, inventory and cost control.Experience with LQA or comparable quality standards preferred.Good leadership, communication and people-management skills.Good command of English and relevant hotel systems.
