Prepare and cook food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, functions and buffet servicePrepare and maintain mise en place to support efficient serviceEnsure all food is prepared in accordance with kitchen recipes, quality and presentation standardsMaintain clean, tidy and hygienic work areas, equipment and storage spacesFollow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirementsAssist with stock rotation and storage while helping to minimise food wasteMonitor daily food and product requirements and communicate these to the chef on dutyWork collaboratively with the culinary and Food & Beverage teams to deliver friendly, professional serviceParticipate in team briefings, training and development opportunities
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel or commercial kitchen environmentRelevant culinary qualificationsKnowledge of food safety, hygiene and safe work practicesA passion for quality food and an interest in Italian-inspired cuisineStrong attention to detail and high presentation standardsGood communication, organisation and time-management skillsA positive attitude and willingness to learn and developThe ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse teamFlexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidaysCurrent working rights in Australia Why join us?
