Review event orders (BEOs) and plan the AV set-up, equipment and timing with the Events teamInstall, test and operate sound systems, microphones, projectors, LED screens, video walls, stage lighting and video conferencingAttend pre-event briefings, rehearsals and sound checks; stay on stand-by during events to resolve issues immediatelyOperate audio mixers, lighting consoles and presentation switchers during live eventsSupport hybrid and virtual meetings: streaming, cameras, laptops, clicker and connection issues for presentersMaintain background music, paging and AV systems in restaurants, bars, pool, beach, spa and public areasDismantle, check, clean and correctly store all equipment after each eventRun preventive maintenance on AV equipment and keep an up-to-date inventory, reporting losses or damageCoordinate with external AV suppliers and contractors and supervise their work on propertyAdvise clients and the Events team on suitable technical solutions and support upselling of AV packagesLog all work orders and incidents in the maintenance systemFollow electrical safety, cable management, working-at-height and Accor Health & Safety standardsKeep up to date with new AV technology and propose improvements to equipment and processes Diploma or technical certificate in electronics, audio-visual, sound engineering or a related fieldMinimum 2–3 years' AV experience in a 5-star hotel, convention venue or event production companyHands-on knowledge of digital mixers, wireless microphones, projection, LED screens, lighting and video conferencing platformsGood understanding of signal flow, networking basics and AV control systems (e.g. Crestron, Extron) an advantageGood spoken and written English; Arabic or French an advantageValid UAE driving licence an advantage
