Own the requirement phase for new PSP and payment method integrations by driving topics from initial tenant request to clear, testable specificationsAnalyse PSP API documentation, payment flows, and webhook behavior, mapping them onto SCAYLE's checkout and order lifecycle across authorization, capture, refund, cancellation, partial flows, and status transitionsWrite and maintain functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Jira (NCO) and Confluence, proactively accounting for edge cases such as failed captures, delayed webhooks, mixed baskets, and partial shipmentsModel payment state machines and status mappings between PSPs and SCAYLE (e.g., pending vs. paid, instant capture vs. capture on shipment) to establish and document clear system rulesAnalyse regulatory and scheme requirements (PSD2/SCA, 3DS2, PCI DSS scope, tokenization/stored cards) and translate them into actionable product requirementsPartner closely with engineering throughout implementation to clarify requirements, review test cases, debug via API docs and logs, and validate that live delivery matches specificationsServe as the primary interface between the Payments team, PSP technical/account contacts, and internal business stakeholders, translating complex payment flows and driving open questions to clear decisionsDrive quick-turn analysis and resolution during live payment issues, maintaining structure and system visibility under pressure 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Requirements Engineer, or Technical Product Owner within e-commerce, fintech, or paymentsSolid understanding of online payment flows, including authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks, tokenization, recurring/stored payments, and the roles of PSPs, acquirers, card schemes, and digital walletsHands-on experience with PSP integrations alongside strong proficiency in reading REST API documentation, webhook specs, and sequence diagramsWorking knowledge of payment regulations and standards, specifically PSD2/SCA, 3DS2, and PCI DSS implications for checkout architecturesProven track record writing clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications within agile environments using Jira and ConfluenceAnalytical ability to structure complex, cross-system topics and translate them into clear, actionable alignment for both engineering teams and non-technical stakeholdersPragmatic, hands-on mindset with a focus on problem-solving, taking ownership of ambiguous edge cases, and delivering practical solutions in fast-paced environmentsFluent English communication skills (written and spoken), capable of facilitating technical discussions, driving stakeholder consensus, and managing PSP partner relationships seamlessly Your perks at a glance: Visit our benefits page.
