Job summary
Salters Medical Practice is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and pro-active Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and hardworking team.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills and work well as part of a team. Previous experience of working in a GP practice is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
We require someone who is reliable and fully flexible to cover holidays and sickness where needed.
Main duties of the job
The role of a medical receptionist is very demanding, therefore we are looking for a candidate who is confident, have excellent communication skills, highly organised and good at multi-tasking.
The successful candidate must be computer literate and have a flexible approach to working.
About us
We are a training practice with approximately 8800 patients with 4 GP Partners and a Clinical Pharmacist Partner. We also host Medical Students. We have a strong supportive Nursing Team and host Student Nurses and Apprentices.
The whole Practice Team works well together and we recognise that a supportive working environment is central to success for individuals and for the practice.
