We are currently seeking Care Support Assistants to join our friendly and dedicated team, supporting individuals within our short stay (respite) provision based in Northwich, Cheshire.
About the Role
As a Care Support Assistant, you will receive full training to help you thrive in your role and gain confidence in providing quality care. After training is completed, you will receive a competitive rate of pay of £15.00 per hour for day shifts.
The role will be a full time (36 hours) with mixture of day and night shifts (sleeping & waking).
Main duties of the job
Your Responsibilities as a Care Support Assistant
Supporting individuals to take part in meaningful activities, both within the service and in the community
Assisting clients in their daily routines, encouraging independence wherever possible
Providing companionship and emotional support
Administering medication when required
What We’re Looking For
To be successful as a Care Support Assistant, you’ll need:
A caring and empathetic nature
Be confident in leading and supporting activities.
Be enthusiastic, reliable and motivated.
Have a positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills
Be flexible and person-centred in their approach to support.
A full UK driving licence is advantageous
Previous experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
