An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our adult Medicine Pharmacy Team at Manchester University Foundation Trust Oxford Road Campus providing care to our patients at our City Centre Hospital.
This is an unbelievable chance for a highly motivated pharmacist to further develop their skills and progress their career in a nationally renowned teaching hospital trust. Applicants must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team whilst also managing your own workload. Main duties of the job
As the successful candidate you will be part of the friendly and supportive Medicine Pharmacy team, providing a clinical pharmacy service with directorate responsibilities to a variety of medical specialties. You will be at the forefront of the development of our clinical service. During your training you will rotate through our many medical specialist/tertiary level services. Excellent communication skills are key, as you will be working with our diverse population, and with many different clinical teams. This post is based at Oxford Road Campus. Areas covered by medicine pharmacists at Oxford Road include:
General medicine Respiratory including MDRTB Endocrinology and Diabetes Elderly Care Frailty including acute frailty unit Stroke and rehab Cardiology Hyperacute sickle unit As well as support to the Medical admissions team
We look forward to appointing pharmacists who are GPhC registered, have previous hospital experience, have a clinical diploma or have completed the first year, and have the necessary skills to work in our clinical service in one of the largest teaching hospital trusts in the UK.

Qualifications Essential
Vocational 4 year Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Pharmacy Current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council

Excellent all round clinical knowledge and practical clinical skills Knowledge of national guidance (NICE, NSFs) and evidence based medicine Evidence of continuing professional development
