Scope
• Plan and coordinate banquet functions, including weddings, conferences, and other events.
• Supervise the banquet team and allocate duties according to the requirements of each function.
• Ensure proper setup and service of the function, including tables, food, beverages, equipment, and guest requirements.
• Coordinate with other departments such as Kitchen, Sales, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Front Office for smooth event operations.
• Ensure banquet equipment, crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen, and other items are available and properly maintained.
• Attend to guests and handle operational issues to ensure good service and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
• Diploma or professional qualification in Hotel Management / Hospitality / Food & Beverage Management.
• Minimum 01 year of experience in banquet or F&B operations, preferably in a hotel.
• Good knowledge of banquet service, event setup, and function operations.
• Experience in handling weddings, conferences, corporate events, and private functions will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership and team-handling skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple functions at the same time.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, service standards, and hotel procedures.
