Are you a School Nurse looking for an opportunity to develop your skills and progress your career? We are recruiting an SCPHN School Nurse to join our team in the West of Cornwall.
We are recruiting a School Nurse to lead delivery of the Healthy Child Programme within the School Nursing 519 Team. You will assess, plan, deliver, and review public health interventions across your school community. You will supervise and support staff and learners within the School Nurse team to maintain safe and consistent practice. The role also includes working with partner agencies to support effective inter agency planning and service delivery.
Main duties of the job
To lead the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme in the designated work area, provide evidence based family centred public health service, which focuses on identifying health needs and vulnerability within the family and community. The aim of which is the prevention and early detection of ill health and promotion of a healthy lifestyle. The School Nurse assesses clients needs, plans and evaluates care, which can be implemented by the School Nurse or delegated to Skill Mix team members in collaboration with the client, other members of the Primary Health Care Team and/or other agencies e.g. CAMHS, Primary Mental Health

You must be a qualified School Nurse (SCPHN) with leadership skills.
You are expected to be proactive and committed to improving outcomes for children, families, and communities.
