The Greenwich Community Neurorehabilitation Team is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Band 5 Physiotherapist to join our specialist service. The team provides high-quality neurorehabilitation to adults with acquired neurological conditions who are residents of the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

Rehabilitation is delivered across a range of community settings, including patients' own homes, residential homes, and nursing homes.

Main duties of the job

To provide specialist neurological assessment and physiotherapy treatment as part of the Community Neurorehabilitation Service. To work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support individuals with long-term neurological conditions. To carry out holistic assessments and effectively communicate relevant medical information, assessment findings, and advice to patients, carers, and professionals across agencies. To ensure information sharing is undertaken in line with local and national guidelines, including informed consent and confidentiality requirements. The ethos of the service is to work in a multidisciplinary way promoting holistic working to ensure that all the care needs of the client are met to improve the quality of life.

You will need to be a versatile, adaptable team player who has good organisational skills. You will be required to use multiple computer systems therefore a good knowledge of IT is essential.

The Greenwich Community Neurorehabilitation Team provides rehabilitation within an MDT including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Nursing and Psychology to adult clients with neurological conditions living in the borough of Greenwich, across various community settings and in their homes.
