Job summary
Community perinatal consultant role responsible for leading the DUAT team (Duty and Urgent Assessment team), and supporting the wider perinatal community team in meeting urgent mental health care needs of the perinatal population of Leeds. This is an innovative role which helps meet the L2P objectives. This is a replacement post as current post holder will be moving to another role in the service.

About us
The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. The post holder will lead the DUAT team and work closely with the other consultants in the perinatal community team. The community service and the inpatient MBU are based at the Mount, and are both accredited by the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The Service has a long track record of providing high quality care and leading innovative practice.

Qualifications Essential
Full registration with the GMC Higher specialist training in WAA Psychiatry with experience in Perinatal Psychiatry
Experience Essential
Excellent communication skills and evidence of effective MDT working Track record in QIP work
