Job summary
We are an expanding cardiology team and we are looking for a dedicated cardiology nurse with experience of working in Cardiac Rehabilitation who is motivated to help shape the care we deliver.
Working closely with the Cardiology Lead Nurse and the wider Cardiac Rehab team, you will run and develop the Cardiac Rehabilitation service at the St Helier site, ensuring that optimum treatment and recovery pathways are in place for cardiac patients across the care continuum.
The successful candidate will take a lead on developing existing services, aiming to meet changing needs in this challenging environment. Using your professional leadership and management skills you will be responsible for leading and supporting the wider cardiac rehabilitation team whilst also providing clinical input to patients referred to the service.
Experience and achievement in nursing cardiac patients is a must for this role, as is an understanding of therapies and treatment. You must have a keen interest in health promotion and be able to encourage patients to achieve independence whilst simultaneously building a culture in the service that is progressive and innovative in its approach and outlook.
You will work with adherence to national guidance and will take the lead in ensuring processes are in place to support effective monitoring of outcomes and that the service is actively contributing to national and local audits.

First level degree Post registration qualification in Cardiology nursing ENB 998 / C&G 7307 or equivalent
