About this role
We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our team on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE). We are open to both in-house candidates looking for a stable team environment and freelance developers seeking a flexible long-term collaboration. In this role, you will take technical ownership of a web ecosystem dedicated to products for parents and children, balancing new feature development with platform stability.
What We’re Looking ForTechnical Core: Extensive experience with Python, specifically Django, Wagtail, and Celery.Data & Infrastructure: Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and hands-on experience with AWS (Fargate and ECS are essential; Lambda and Cognito are a plus).DevOps Mindset: Familiarity with Terraform is a strong advantage.Ownership: Ability to manage and enhance complex systems (Wagtail CMS / Django wrappers).Communication: Fluency in both Polish and English is required for effective team and client collaboration. What You'll Do Product Development: Work closely with the client and the team to build and maintain web applications for the parenting and childcare sector.System Evolution: Manage and enhance three websites built on Wagtail with React & Next.js frontends.Full Lifecycle Engineering: Handle new feature development, ongoing maintenance, and bug fixes to ensure maximum platform stability.Marketing Support: Develop and optimize services tailored for the marketing department.Integrations: Ensure seamless communication with the client's CRM through a dedicated Django-based wrapper.Benefits
