About this role

Business Operations Officer Special responsibilities: 1. Operational Activities ● Execute and support day-to-day business operations related to e-money and payment services. ● Assist with coordination of internal and external documentation, and operational explanations. ● Support the enhancement and ongoing optimisation of internal processes, including drafting and maintaining operational procedures, guidelines, manuals, and checklists. ● Perform clients' funds and e-money/payment operations reconciliations in line with internal control frameworks. ● Carry out BCL (Banque Centrale du Luxembourg) and CESOP reporting routines, ensuring accuracy and timely submission. ● Coordinate and collaborate across teams to support operational workflows, resolve internal issues, and ensure smooth execution of company processes. ● Monitor and oversee the support function of the Everestcard.com service, ensuring consistent communication with everestcard.com clients and maintaining timely follow-up on operational issues. ● Collaborate closely with team members and cross-departmental colleagues to identify issues on Support function, escalate where necessary, and support resolution. ● Assist with other relevant tasks within the domain as assigned by the supervisor 2. Information Security & ISO Function ● Ensure the execution of periodic ISO-related controls and activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual tasks defined in ISO/Information Security policies and procedures. ● Perform Quarterly ISO controls, including access management checks, documentation updates, and operational compliance verifications. ● Execute Monthly telework statistics, Quarterly BCP (Business Continuity Plan) tests, and other defined resilience activities in accordance with DORA and internal requirements. ● Coordinate the investigation, classification, documentation and follow-up of ICT-related incidents, including evidence collection and remediation actions. ● Contribute to the maintenance and continuous improvement of Information Security procedures, guidelines, logs, checklists and operational controls. ● Report relevant Information Security matters, risks and incidents to Management and escalate where necessary. Requirements: ● University degree in Finance, Economics, Management or similar ● Experience in payments / fintech / regulated environment ● Experience with regulatory reporting (e.g. CESOP, BCL) ● Good knowledge of Information Security, internal controls and DORA requirements (Certified DORA Practitioner) ● Strong analytical skills and ability to work with financial data and reconciliations ● Good knowledge of Excel (e.g. formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) ● High level of accuracy and attention to detail ● Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines ● Proactive and problem-solving mindset ● Clear communication skills and ability to explain operational topics ● Professional attitude, integrity and reliability ● Fluent in English (German and/or French is a strong advantage)
