The Role JOB DESCRIPTION Function: Sales Employee name: Candidate I - JOB DESCRIPTION 1 - Job title Payment Solutions Sales Representative 2 - Job position in the organisation: Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. 3 - Financial proxies: none 4 - Substitution available by: TBD 5 - Positions of staff managed (if any): none II - MISSIONS AND ASSIGNMENTS We are looking for a driven, hands-on Payment Solutions Sales Representative to expand our footprint in the Luxembourgish payments sector. This is a dynamic, highly operational role designed for a sales professional who thrives on being out on the move. You will own the local market end-to-end: from driving cold outreach and visiting business owners face-to-face, to managing existing accounts and rolling up your sleeves to physically support clients with the on-site setup and installation of our payment terminals and solutions. Special responsibilities: ● Identifying and securing new clients and business opportunities in the Luxembourg payments sector through targeted cold calling, field prospecting, and face-to-face merchant visits. ● Managing and developing existing client and partner relationships in Luxembourg to ensure high retention and look for upsell opportunities. ● Supporting the implementation and further development of payment solutions directly on-site, helping customers configure and test their hardware or software seamlessly so they can take their first transaction. ● Working closely with internal teams such as Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations to streamline the onboarding process and resolve merchant issues. ● Supporting the expansion and management of our partner network within the region. JOB DESCRIPTION ● Attending local industry events, trade fairs, roadshows, and partner events to network and generate high-quality sales leads. ● Acting as a key point of contact and sounding board for internal and external stakeholders on payment-related matters. ● Providing support with commercial and strategic tasks to help optimize our sales processes in the country. Requirements: ● A degree or educational background in Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology (IT), or a related field is highly valued. ● 1 - 5 years of proven sales experience, preferably in B2B sales, field sales, or a customer-facing operational environment (experience in fintech and/or payments area is a major plus). ● A proven "hunter" mentality with a track record of successfully managing cold outreach and turning prospects into clients. ● Hands-on & solution-oriented approach: You enjoy the practical side of the job and are comfortable troubleshooting basic tech/hardware setups with the client on-site. ● Multilingual Skills: Excellent communication skills. Fluency in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish/German is a significant advantage given the local merchant landscape.
