By joining us, you'll help evolve and grow our private banking business. What you will do: As Market Head for Central and Northern Europe, you'll directly manage the Netherlands Desk based in Luxembourg and build profitable long-term client relationships. The role focuses on generating Net New Money (NNM), growing Assets Under Management (AUM) and increasing gross revenue through high-quality new client acquisition and deeper client solutions. You'll partner across Global Private Banking (GPB) and Commercial Banking (CMB) to bring the right products and services to clients and prospects. Success means delivering agreed financial targets through a strong pipeline, effective referrals across the Group and consistently high standards of client service. You'll also shape a strong risk and control environment with clear expectations on KYC, sales quality and compliance. In this role, you will (but not limited to): • Lead and manage the Netherland Market composed of Senior Relationship Managers (hunters), as well based out of PBLU. • Drive business development efforts through the focus on new client acquisition of UHNW and Family Office segments in the Netherlands and other key International markets related to your business. • Stir share of wallet increase discipline with the existing UHNW client base through systematic client planning, sales management, client connectivity and other means. • Ensure collaboration with other markets and locations within HSBC Private Banking, as well as enhance connectivity with HSBC Commercial and Global Banking business lines in the Netherlands and other key International markets. • Promote brand visibility of HSBC Private Banking in the Netherlands and other key International markets through various initiatives, including proactive marketing, communication, collaboration with business introducers. • Actively promote, manage, train, develop and assess all members of the team within assigned area of responsibility. You should apply if you have: • Min. 10 years of relevant experience in Private Banking within UHNW Netherlands and other key International client segments. • Strong hunter mindset, proven track record of growing the business and driving acquisition of new clients. • Demonstrated track record of leading a team of Relationship Managers. • Decision maker, capable of providing judgment and clear direction within the established framework. • Fluency in English and Dutch. What you'll get in return: The pay range for this role is €200,000 – €350,000.
