About this role
To keep our installations running optimally, we are looking for an industrial mechanic with a passion for mechanics and sustainable technology. Your role: As a mechanical technician, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of our sorting lines and technical installations. Your tasks: Carrying out checks and repairs on the PRF and MRF sorting lines. Preparing mechanical parts in the workshop (sawing, grinding, welding, lubricating, assembling, etc.). Assisting with preventive maintenance: lubricating bearings, replacing wear parts, adjusting rollers, etc. Participating in weekly maintenance on Wednesday and Saturday mornings (every other week). Resolving malfunctions and breakdowns to limit downtime. Performing various repairs to infrastructure such as gates, barriers, racks, and forklifts. Wie ben jij? Je hebt een mechanische achtergrond (lagers, reductoren, montage, ...). Je denkt in oplossingen en hebt oog voor veiligheid, orde en netheid. Routine en preventieve controles schrikken je niet af. Ervaring met laswerken of hydraulica is mooi meegenomen Je zoekt dagwerk (8u - 16u06), maar bent flexibel ingesteld. Zaterdagvoormiddag werk je in principe 1 op 2 weken en bij ernstige technische problemen ben je beschikbaar. Je spreekt Nederlands, Frans of Engels.
