PART-TIME DELIVERY DRIVER

Express Parcel is looking for a reliable, responsible Part-Time Delivery Driver to run a regular route from Timmins to the Cochrane and Iroquois Falls area.
Position Details
* Part-time position * Approximately 9:00 AM ? 1:00 PM, Monday to Friday * Regular route from Timmins to Cochrane / Iroquois Falls * Multi-stop deliveries and pickups * Some days may run longer depending on the volume and delivery requirements * *Additional hours may be available* for someone who is willing and able to stay longer when needed
Requirements
* Valid *G driver's licence* * Clean driver's abstract * Safe and responsible driving record * Reliable and punctual * Comfortable driving Northern Ontario roads and in varying weather conditions * Good customer service and communication skills * Able to safely handle and deliver packages * Previous delivery or courier experience is an asset

*Duties*
* Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. * Load, secure, and unload freight * Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption while maintaining punctuality. * Verify delivery orders against shipment documentation to ensure accuracy before dispatch. * Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to confirm delivery schedules or resolve issues promptly. * Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs or report maintenance needs to ensure vehicle reliability. * Maintain detailed records of deliveries, freight handling, and equipment usage for accountability and reporting purposes.
*Qualifications*
* Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record. * Ability to handle freight securely using appropriate tools and techniques. * Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and route planning. * Physical stamina to lift heavy items, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed. * Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with team members and customers.

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
