Job Summary The Business Analyst role is responsible for independently eliciting, analysing, and translating business requirements into functional and product specifications, validating delivered solutions, and acting as a trusted consultant to business stakeholders across integrated systems. Key Responsibilities • Act as a consultant to business stakeholders, challenging assumptions and clarifying intent. • Develop business cases aligned to strategic and operational objectives. • Produce and validate Customer and Product Requirements Specifications. • Design functional solutions considering system interfaces and dependencies. • Define and execute testing approaches, supporting UAT and sign-off. • Manage project documentation, risks, scope, and delivery tracking. • Review junior analyst artefacts and provide validation feedback. • Support live environments through incident analysis and stakeholder communication. Skills Requirements Elicitation Business Requirements Definition Business Process Modelling Solution Design, Implementation and Support Testing and Test Preparation Stakeholder Engagement Problem solving Qualifications Matric. Informatics or Other Relevant Degree. Certifications Advanced UML course BPMN Course PM training or qualification Work Experience 5 years Business Analysis experience. Business experience & product knowledge (Advantageous) Integration experience with 3rd party vendors or multiple inter-dependencies (Advantageous)
