Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year
Requirements: You must already be based in the UK or be able to work from the UK; were unable to support relocation or visa sponsorship.Experience working with large-scale distributed systems.Strong knowledge of Java 8 or later.Experience with relational and non-relational databases, query optimization, and schema design.Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining clean RESTful APIs.Commitment to coding best practices, code reviews, and open feedback.Enjoyment of writing testable code and commitment to Test Driven Development.Nice to have: experience with Spring Boot, Kafka, or Backend-for-Frontends (BFFs). Our Product Eligibility team helps determine which products and features are available to each customer, and is working to improve how we capture and validate customers residence, current location, and address information. We work in an agile fashion, with engineers collaborating closely with the product manager and analyst. The team operates across our London and Cherkery offices. This is a full-time, mid-senior-level engineering role with a starting salary of £68,000–£87,500 and Wise benefits.
