Salary: £66,000 - 106,000 per year
Requirements: Professional experience with Java or other JVM-based languages, including the Spring framework.Proven experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, distributed systems, and concurrent systems.Strong product mindset, accountability, and the ability to drive projects independently while making data-driven decisions with the customer in mind.Experience with relational and non-relational databases, including query optimisation and designing resilient schemas.Exceptional fundamentals, sharp problem-solving ability, and a commitment to Test Driven Development and best coding practices.Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts across teams including Product, Data Science, and Investigations.Familiarity with the machine learning lifecycle, including data pipelines, feature engineering, and deploying ML systems into production is a plus. Responsibilities: Join our Senior Software Engineer team in our critical Account Integrity function.Solve complex, real-world adversarial problems to help protect our global customer base.Continuously improve our financial crime prevention infrastructure and systems.Take end-to-end ownership of projects focused on building and refining critical controls to protect customer accounts from account takeovers.Drive backend and frontend development for our crime prevention and detection systems, spending around 80% of the time on backend work and 20% on frontend work.Deliver tangible impact by securing customer money, raising automation levels, and helping us engineer a world-class money transfer product.
