Salary: £55,000 - 95,000 per year
Requirements: Multiple years of z/OS systems experience, specifically within Mainframe Storage, mainly IBM productsDay-to-day support experience with products used in daily activitiesUnderstanding of CA Products, including Vantage, CA Disk, and CA AllocateDemonstrable experience with storage platforms in the object area, such as Dell EMC ECS, NetApp StorageGrid, Veritas Enterprise Vault, OpenText InfoArchive, Cloudian, VAST, Scality, IBM COS, or PureHardware support knowledge, including channel troubleshooting, at a mid-levelExperience using IWS to analyse housekeeping schedulesExperience working within an Agile environmentAutomation scripting experience with APIs using scripting languages such as Ansible and PythonAbility to maintain a positive, can-do attitude and stay positive towards challengesAbility to work under pressure and remain flexible with work scheduling across different time zonesNice to have: experience with AWS, GCP, MS Azure, NAS, SAN, and backupNice to have: knowledge and experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Ansible T REX, and RTDOAM - Object Access Method Responsibilities: Lead, build, and support the zSeries Storage hardware and software infrastructure in one of the largest z/OS environments globallyPerform a technical project management role for large zSeries infrastructure deployment and evergreening projectsDesign, configure, test, implement, and support zSeries Storage hardware and softwareSet up automation to reduce manual interventions in the Storage infrastructureTest new software and exploit functionalityConsolidate and reduce infrastructure complexityManage risk and costEnsure service quality targets are met for offered platform servicesManage business stakeholdersLiaise with and manage vendors Technologies: AIAWSAnsibleAzureCloudConfluenceGCPHardwareIBMSupportJIRAPythonSecurityAPIDevOps More:
