About this role
• Ensure weld quality and dimensional accuracy using approved NDT (non-destructive testing) methods. • Communicate inspection findings clearly to production teams to support corrective actions and continuous improvement. • Comply with all NOV safety, quality, and HSE procedures.
• Inspect welded areas for soundness using various NDT techniques. • Interpret inspection results and document non-conformances as needed. • Maintain accurate daily inspection records, including quantities and defect details. • Read and interpret technical product drawings to determine acceptance criteria. • Use precision measuring tools such as dial calipers, micrometers, and pit gauges to verify specifications. • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments; role requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting for up 12 hrs.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. • Must pass the company general inspection evaluation with a minimum score of 80%. • Basic computer literacy. • Ability to pass an industrial vision screening with near-visual acuity. • Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety, quality, and accuracy.
