About this role

Start date: 1 January 2026. Part time: 29 hours per week. Fixed term: 2 years.

We wish to appoint a fixed-term, 0.8 FTE Associate Lecturer (Education Focused) in Systematic Theology within the School of Divinity. The position will be held from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2028. You will be a scholar with a growing international reputation in Divinity and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching.

The successful candidate will be expected to have a range of interests, to contribute to the research culture of the School, and to be capable of teaching the subject to students from a wide range of backgrounds.

Candidates should hold a PhD in a cognate discipline. Excellent teaching skills are essential. An interest in promoting knowledge exchange is desirable.
