Your Responsibilities:
• Precision CNC Operation: Set up and operate CNC milling and lathe machines to produce precision parts according to complex blueprints and specifications.
• Program Optimization: Interpret and refine G-code and M-code programming, and utilize Mastercam to generate and modify CNC programs.
• Quality Assurance: Perform meticulous quality checks using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators), ensuring adherence to strict tolerances.
• Machine Maintenance: Conduct routine machine maintenance, ensuring optimal performance.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately read and interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Detailed Documentation: Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Problem Solving: Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and implement process improvements.
• Safety Adherence: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies.
What You Bring to the Table:
• Minimum 10 years of hands-on CNC Machinist experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency in operating CNC milling and lathe machines.
• Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
• 5+ year of dedicated mill experience.
• Expertise in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators).
• Proficiency with Mastercam software.
• Ability to interpret complex blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to pass a background check.
