About this role
We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team at our Morton location (11 E. Jackson St.). In this role, you'll be the face of our organization, delivering quality service and smiles to our customers throughout the community. As a Delivery Driver, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring timely and safe delivery of orders while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction.
Safely operate a vehicle to deliver orders to customers in assigned routes within Morton and surrounding areasPlan and optimize delivery routes to ensure efficient time management and on-time arrivalsMaintain a clean, well-organized vehicle and perform routine maintenance checksHandle packages with care, ensuring products arrive in excellent conditionProvide friendly, professional customer service and represent the organization positivelyAccurately document delivery information and maintain detailed recordsFollow all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure safe driving practicesCommunicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery status and any issuesRespond professionally to customer inquiries and resolve concerns with empathyMeet performance goals and delivery targets while maintaining flexibility with scheduling Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving historyPass a Motor Vehicle Record Check meeting company-specific standardsAccess to a reliable, insured vehicle suitable for delivery purposesProven ability to navigate routes efficiently and manage time effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindsetPhysical capability to safely lift and carry packages of varying sizesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailReliable, punctual, and committed to meeting delivery deadlinesClean driving record and demonstrated commitment to safe driving practicesPositive attitude, resilience, and ability to work independentlyWillingness to work flexible hours based on business needsHigh school diploma or equivalent (preferred)MBR Management Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
