Job summary
The Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust hosts a leading regional Cancer Centre, and we are seeking a well-organized Medical Consultant Oncologist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide expertise in the management and treatment of patients with Breast tumours. This includes offering Chemotherapy and systemic therapy. This role offers the opportunity to join a dynamic team providing exceptional cancer care in a modern, state-of-the-art facility
The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre provides specialist Cancer and Haemato-Oncological care, including complex cancer surgery, to a catchment area of approximately 1.4 million people in South West Surrey and Hampshire. Non-surgical oncological treatment for these patients is provided at the Royal Surrey Cancer Centre, which is an integral part of the Trust. We have recently opened our newly refurbished Cancer Centre, and are delighted to offer a modern and welcoming environment for patients.

Main duties of the job
Remit of the Consultant Post:o Work with colleagues to provide a Breast oncology service.o Offer Chemotherapy and systemic therapy expertise.o Participate in regular consultant ward cover sessions.o This remit requires a well-organized individual with good team-working skills and the ability to complete work within agreed timescales in cooperation with all staff groups and with support from senior colleagues.

Full registration and a license to practice with the GMC MBBS or equivalent Higher medical qualification
