An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the 0-19 Stoke Integrated Health Visitor and School Nurse Service delivering public health services to children and families across Stoke on Trent
We have a vacancy offering a 37.5 hrs a week for a Band 6 Public Health Practitioner School Nurse based in the 0-19 Stoke South West Team supporting 0-19 Stoke South East Team
We are seeking a person who will be caring and compassionate, who has the ability to actively listen and have a warm and approachable manner. You will lead by example and encourage effective skill mix team working to develop others ad ensure the best outcomes for our Children, Young People and Families across Stoke on Trent.

Main duties of the job
Be competent as appropriate to the requirements of the Work within their scope of practice Demonstrate at all times the Values of Midlands Partnership Foundation Be a Specialist Community Public Health Practitioner and have detailed professional and clinical They will be a specialist practitioner and have a focus in public health across the 0-19 agenda. Be responsible for a defined population of service users in a variety of settings across the Partnership Trust including the community and Be skilled in the assessment of children and young people's care/support needs and in the development, implementation and evaluation of care/support Have supervisory, training and leadership responsibilities where appropriate and will have some responsibility for team performance and service developments/improvements.
