Deloitte Canada is seeking a Quality and Risk Analyst in Partner Rotation for an 18-month contract. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the quality of data in the Audit Public Database specifically as it relates to partner rotation and Partner planning. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the partner rotation requirements for reporting Issuers and other entities subject to rotation or long association are properly documented and monitored in our databases. The role will involve checking existing sources, communicating with engagement teams, audit partners and National leaders to clarify facts and circumstances and to confirm appropriate approvals are obtained in accordance with our policies. The role will involve conducting research on clients using various internal and external sources (i.e. CRM, public filings, etc.). Additionally, the Analyst will assist in the preparation and distribution of periodic reports. This role will also involve various other activities to support the broader Quality & Risk group on a project basis as needed. About the team The Partner Rotation Team is responsible for tracking partners and professional staff on audit public engagements for independence purposes. It is also our responsibility to ensure all the correct levels of approval are in place and documented. We are part of, and supported by, the audit client and engagement (ACE) Quality and Risk Team and track the information in the database, for numerous purposes across the firm as well as regulatory reporting. Responsibilities include: Validate partner rotation and engagement data. Maintain accurate and complete database records. Research information using internal systems and public filings. Coordinate with engagement teams and leaders to resolve discrepancies. Confirm and document required approvals. Prepare, update, and quality-check recurring reports from the Audit Public Database for internal and regulatory stakeholders. Maintain records in accordance with retention and confidentiality requirements. Enough about us, let’s talk about you You are someone with: A university degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. One to three years of experience in audit, accounting, finance, risk, compliance, data management, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality, confidentiality, and ethical standards. Strong Microsoft 365 skills, particularly Excel and Outlook. Experience working with databases, SharePoint, CRM systems, or reporting tools is an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clarify information with stakeholders. The ability to organize competing priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines. A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with colleagues at different levels. Familiarity with audit, accounting, independence, or regulatory requirements is an asset. Proficiency in English due to regular interaction with national and global teams. Total Rewards The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $78,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
