About the role We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Lead with a strong focus on Cloud Engineering to take technical ownership of Masiv’s cloud infrastructure and lead a team focused on building, operating and continuously improving our cloud foundation. This is a hands-on leadership role with a balance between cloud engineering and team/operational leadership. You will be expected to make technical decisions, review and design solutions, support execution when needed, and ensure the cloud environment remains secure, reliable, scalable and cost-efficient. You will work closely with Masiv’s Engineering teams and the global Cloud & DevOps organization to ensure alignment with global standards while maintaining the autonomy to make infrastructure decisions for the local cloud environment. What you’ll do
• Own the design, implementation and evolution of Masiv’s AWS cloud infrastructure. • Lead cloud infrastructure governance, including account structure, provisioning, access models, security policies, guardrails and tagging standards. • Design and manage AWS infrastructure, networking, connectivity and observability solutions. • Establish and improve cloud infrastructure standards, architecture patterns and engineering practices. • Drive infrastructure automation and continuous improvement across cloud environments. • Ensure the reliability, availability, monitoring and resilience of cloud infrastructure, including disaster recovery and high-availability practices. • Partner with Security to implement cloud security controls and maintain a strong security posture. • Identify and deliver opportunities for cloud cost optimization, working closely with the FinOps function and Engineering teams. • Review technical designs and provide hands-on support when required. • Lead, prioritize and develop the Cloud Infrastructure team. • Partner with Engineering to ensure infrastructure solutions effectively support application and platform requirements. • Collaborate with global Cloud & DevOps teams and other entities across the group to maintain common governance and technical standards. • Build and maintain a roadmap for cloud architecture, infrastructure and platform improvements. What we’re looking for
• 7+ years of solid experience in Cloud Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering. • Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure design and implementation. • Strong knowledge of cloud networking, including TCP/IP, connectivity and network architecture. • Strong understanding of cloud security, governance and security controls. • Experience with cloud observability and monitoring. • Experience with cloud cost optimization / FinOps principles. • Practical experience with AWS environments, including technologies such as AWS Control Tower, Landing Zones, account provisioning, VPC, VPN, CloudWatch, CloudTrail and Security Hub. • Experience implementing and managing cloud infrastructure, not only supporting or coordinating it. • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. • Ability to work independently, take ownership and influence technical decisions across teams. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Advanced English is required. Leadership experience Previous formal people-management experience is desirable but not mandatory. We are open to strong Senior Cloud Engineers or Cloud Architects who have the technical depth, ownership mindset and leadership potential to step into their first formal leadership role. Why join us?
