Are you detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operations environment? We are seeking a Member Operations Specialist to support a busy financial services team with essential back-office functions. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy administrative work, data entry, and processing high volumes of transactions with accuracy. This is a non-customer-facing position focused on operational support, document processing, and maintaining accuracy across multiple systems.Responsibilities
• Process incoming and outgoing mail. • Scan and process checks using internal banking systems. • Create and balance cash letters. • Review and process member-related requests. • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records across multiple platforms. • Utilize systems such as Microsoft Excel and other financial processing applications. • Verify information and ensure all transactions are completed accurately. • Follow established procedures, service level agreements (SLAs), and operational guidelines. • Support daily workflow priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. • Assist with additional administrative and operational tasks as assigned. Qualifications Required
• Minimum 2 years of administrative, data entry, or office support experience. • Strong computer proficiency and typing skills. • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Ability to identify and process check-related documents. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. • Excellent communication skills and willingness to ask questions when clarification is needed. • Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Preferred
• Banking, financial services, or credit union experience. • Experience working with financial processing systems. • Familiarity with Symitar or similar banking platforms. Schedule
• Monday through Friday • Primary schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM • Flexibility preferred for schedules ending between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM as business needs require. Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Vernon Hills, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
