About this role
Join a large-scale technology deployment project within the healthcare industry supporting a major system-wide device refresh initiative. This team will play a critical role in replacing approximately 1,300 computers across hospital and clinical locations as part of an enterprise technology modernization effort. Candidates will work alongside an established IT organization to deploy new hardware, ensure equipment is properly installed, and support a successful transition ahead of a major electronic health record implementation.This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on IT experience, expand their technical skills, and contribute to a high-impact healthcare technology project. Training will be provided prior to deployment activities, making this a great fit for candidates with hardware installation, desktop support, electronics, or other hands-on technical experience. Key Responsibilities
• Remove existing computers, monitors, and related equipment and install replacement hardware. • Set up and mount computers and monitors in patient rooms, exam rooms, offices, and other clinical environments. • Connect peripherals including keyboards, mice, monitors, USB devices, and additional accessories. • Verify equipment is installed and connected properly before project handoff. • Perform basic troubleshooting related to hardware, cabling, and peripheral connectivity. • Follow established deployment procedures and project documentation standards. • Work closely with project leadership and customer IT teams to complete scheduled deployments. • Maintain a professional presence while working in active healthcare environments. • Escalate equipment issues, installation concerns, or deployment challenges to project leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience installing, replacing, configuring, or supporting computer hardware. • Basic understanding of PCs, monitors, cables, peripherals, and workstation equipment. • Ability to follow documented processes and perform repetitive deployment tasks with accuracy. • Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and reliability. • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. • Professional demeanor and customer service mindset. • Comfortable lifting, moving, mounting, and installing computer equipment throughout the workday. • Flexibility to support varying project schedules, including occasional evening or weekend work when needed. Project Impact This team will help drive a critical infrastructure refresh supporting the integration of a newly acquired healthcare system and preparing facilities for a major electronic health record go-live. Successful completion of this project will ensure end users have updated technology and minimize disruptions to patient care operations. Work Environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Watertown, SD. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
