About this role

Job Title: MIG WelderJob DescriptionAs a MIG Welder, you will lead a team of 5-10 welders and metal finishers, ensuring quality and deadlines are met through project auditing. Your role involves welding precision sheet metal fabricated parts for industries such as defense, data centers, and oil and gas. You will handle a range of small to large parts, from short prototypes to medium production runs, and read blueprints to weld on light gauge, tight tolerance cold rolled steel, stainless steel, and aluminum products. You will be responsible for setting your own fixtures, layouts, and executing precision welding tasks. Responsibilities • Lead a team of welders and metal finishers to ensure quality and deadlines are met. • Weld precision sheet metal fabricated parts for various industries. • Handle a range of parts sizes and production runs. • Read blueprints and weld on light gauge materials. • Set own fixtures, layouts, and perform welding tasks. Essential Skills • 5+ years of MIG welding experience on stainless steel, aluminum, and cold rolled steel. • Proficiency in welding from blueprints. • Experience with custom welds in a job shop environment. • Lead welding experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with TIG welding, fixtures, and precision welding. • Knowledge of aluminum, stainless steel, and fabrication techniques. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
