About this role

About us

Ricoh Samoa is part of Ricoh South Pacific, the Ricoh distributor for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. We supply, install and service printers, copiers and IT systems for businesses and government across the region. We are a fast-moving team that uses modern systems and AI tools in daily work, and we are moving from Xero to Microsoft Business Central soon.

About the role

This role keeps money coming into the business. You will own billing-to-cash for the branch: invoices raised correctly and on time, payments matched properly, overdue accounts followed up, and customer records kept in order.

You don't just process what lands on your desk. When a customer hasn't paid, you follow it up. When an account is on stop-credit, you hold the line until it is properly released, even when someone pushes.

What you'll do

• Raise accurate invoices within two working days of a job being completed

• Run a weekly check of overdue accounts, follow up debts and resolve disputes quickly

• Manage the stop-credit process, making sure no service or delivery goes to an account on hold without approval

• Collect monthly meter readings from customers and get billing ready

• Match customer payments and apply credits correctly

• Handle freight and customs paperwork so shipments clear quickly

• Keep customer contracts and supporting documents up to date in our systems

What we're looking for

• 1+ years in accounts, administration, accounts receivable/payable or billing

• Working knowledge of Xero or similar accounting software

• Strong attention to detail. You notice when a number doesn't look right.

• Reliable with deadlines and follow-up. Done means done.

• Confident speaking with customers about money, politely and firmly

• Comfortable with computers, Excel and new technology, including AI tools

• A certificate or diploma in accounting or business is an advantage, not a requirement

What you'll get

• A permanent role in a stable, international brand

• Training on modern systems, including Microsoft Business Central

• A team that values accuracy, ownership and getting things done properly

• A clear, fair hiring process with no long waits
