Ricoh Vanuatu is part of Ricoh South Pacific, the authorised Ricoh distributor for New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. We help businesses and government across Vanuatu work smarter with printers and copiers, IT hardware and networks, managed IT services, audio-visual systems and digital signage. Our IT services business is growing fast, and we're building a sales team to match.
About the role
This is a hunting and account-growth role. You'll find new business, turn conversations into proposals, and close contracts, then look after your customers so they stay and buy more. You'll have a strong brand behind you, a real product range to sell, and commission that rewards results.
What you'll do
• Prospect for new business and book meetings with decision-makers
• Understand each customer's needs and qualify real opportunities
• Build clear, well-priced proposals for print, IT and managed services
• Negotiate and close contracts
• Manage and grow your customer accounts, including renewals
• Keep your pipeline and activity up to date in our CRM (Salesforce)
What we're looking for
• Previous business-to-business (B2B) sales experience; experience selling technology or services is a strong advantage
• A track record of hitting targets, and the drive to chase the next deal
• Confident, professional communication in person, on the phone and in writing
• Organised and disciplined with follow-up; you don't let leads go cold
• Comfortable learning about technology and explaining it simply
• CRM experience is an advantage
• Full driver's licence
• Good English; Bislama and/or French an advantage
