Job summary
To work as part of the Musculoskeletal Team, providing an efficient, responsive and professional administrative and reception service. The postholder will support the day-to-day running of the service, including managing appointments, processing referrals, correspondence, records, enquiries and general office duties, while maintaining confidentiality and data security. The role requires excellent communication and organisational skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and the confidence to liaise with patients and a wide range of healthcare professionals. The postholder will also support junior administrative staff, coordinate office cover and contribute to staff supervision, development and service improvement.

Education/Qualification Essential
Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent Good standard of Written and Spoken English
Skills/Abilities Essential
Computer Literacy Good communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to prioritise workload, and plan and organise own time effectively Ability to work flexibly without direct supervision and prioritise workload, and plan and organise own time effectively.
Experience Essential
Experience of working in an administrative capacity within a team setting.
Knowledge/ Understanding Essential
I.T/Administration Knowledge of Patient Administration systems.
