Plant 101 - Dept 844 - 2nd shift (4/10) Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring equipment. • Review inspection results and verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. • Identify, document, and communicate nonconforming conditions and quality concerns. • Conduct approved reprocessing activities on abnormal or nonconforming parts to restore them to a defined zero-state condition. • Ensure reprocessed parts meet all quality and procedural requirements before returning them to the production line. • Maintain accurate records of inspections, rework activities, measurements, and disposition decisions. • Follow all quality management system requirements, work instructions, and standard operating procedures. • Support root cause investigations and corrective actions related to quality issues when required. • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve part discrepancies and maintain product flow. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and process reliability. Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred. • Experience operating CMM equipment and interpreting inspection data. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. • Knowledge of precision measuring tools and inspection techniques. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Ability to follow detailed procedures with minimal deviation. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. • Basic computer skills and experience maintaining quality records. Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or precision machining environment. • Familiarity with quality management systems and nonconformance processes. • Experience handling critical or controlled products where quality requirements are highly regulated. Key Competencies
